“Any healthy man can go without food for two days - but not without poetry”                                                             Charles Baudelaire

We never forget that you are also on holiday and may be travelling with someone who is not participating in the course. You may all want a trip to the local markets, a visit to nearby towns, bars and restaurants or walks around the area. Structured tuition takes place in the mornings from 9.30 – 12.30 followed by lunch. After lunch there is an informal and optional plenary session or anyone who wishes to can continue writing. Occasionally a visit might form part of the course itself so that you benefit from stimulus and different environments.
